About this event

This 4-week long Learn to Row program will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6-8pm. This program's progression:

Dry-land education and practicing movements on ergometers (rowing machine)
Sweep rowing in a 16-person training barge
Scull rowing in progressively smaller boats (4 person, 2 person and 1 person)
Exploring the Grand River!

Participants are strongly encouraged to continue to row with our club during Open Row sessions following our Learn to Row Program.

All participants must be able to swim (or tread water) to attend.
A release of liability form will need to be signed on the first day of Learn to Row.

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11:30 PM

Cancellation Policy:

Our website cannot process cancellations- they must be done manually. Because of this, the deposit is non-refundable. Any amount paid above the deposit, will be refunded in full.
